We Build iOS Apps That Respect Your Privacy
DB Labs is an independent iOS app developer with one core belief: the best apps are fast, focused, and treat your data with respect. Our flagship app processes your photos on your iPhone and does not upload them.
Our Mission
DB Labs exists to build iOS apps that solve real problems elegantly. We focus on a small number of apps and make each one exceptional — not bloated with features you don't need.
Our flagship app, Swype Photo Cleaner, started from a simple frustration: iPhones constantly run out of storage because of photo clutter, and the native Photos app makes cleanup tedious. We built a better way — a swipe-based interface that makes cleaning thousands of photos genuinely fast and even fun.
We're a small, independent team. That means every design decision, every privacy choice, and every line of code reflects our actual values — not a corporate committee's compromise.

What We Stand For
Three principles guide everything we build at DB Labs.
-
Your photos stay on your device
Your photos are processed on your iPhone and are not uploaded. No account required. The app uses third-party analytics and attribution SDKs for usage data; see the App Store privacy label.
-
Speed and simplicity over feature bloat
We build apps that do one thing extremely well. Swype Photo Cleaner has one job: help you clean your camera roll fast. We resist the temptation to add unnecessary features that slow the app down and confuse the experience.
-
Clear about pricing
Swype Photo Cleaner is free to download, with in-app purchases (weekly, annual and lifetime plans).
Other Projects Worth Checking Out
Great software comes from every corner of the indie developer world. A few projects we think are worth a look: EasyApps Ecommerce — a suite of 10 high-converting Shopify tools including email popups, upsell widgets, and free shipping bars — and Hermoso, an AI ad studio that turns the winning ad creative in your market into finished, on-brand video and image ads in minutes.
